“I’m glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” L.M. Montgomery – Anne of Green Gables

Fall is my favorite time of the year! Crisp air, pretty leaves, sweaters and boots, apple picking, hot apple cider, and pumpkins! It’s also a perfect time for pictures. This weekend was the start of a month long marathon of fall pictures with wonderful families. I couldn’t have been happier that the first family is my brother in law’s family….and it’s extra special this year because they have a new addition!  337

bribing, it happens…

I drove past this field of goldenrod 4 times today wondering how in the world I could get my girls to come back later this evening to let me practice my photography…..bribing is the only way it works lately. Well, it wasn’t too hard tonight. My 9 year old requested dinner out at a Mexican restaurant and I have yet to go grocery shopping so win win for us all! She gave me some of her best smiles. Now that I know she’ll work for chips and queso I may be using this one more often 🙂

big sis & lil’ bro

I had the honor of taking some pictures of Avery and her little brother Tripp this summer. I was able to take their pictures at a location where I spent a lot of my childhood running around playing and chasing barn cats. There are still barn kitties and they seem to be a little tamer than I remember. That afternoon brought back so many memories….so happy that these little ones are making their own memories there now. 651
